Sophia Camara and Sarolta Papp raced their Lightweight 2x to a first-place finish at the Henley Women's Regatta in England on Sunday afternoon. The duo earned a three boat length win over Nottingham University.
"Hats off to Sophia and Sarolta," Head Coach Kevin Harris said. "Match racing isn't something we do much in the United States, so it was a real unique experience to not only race in the Women's Henley Regatta, but to race this course. I was impressed with their poise and how they attacked the race course. They did an excellent job of executing the race plan, and it is a great way for Sophia to end her career at TU in her final race as a Golden Hurricane.
