Tulsa's Shug Dickson and Kendrian Elliott were named to the American Athletic Conference Women's Basketball All-Freshman Team, as announced today by the league office.
Dickson, a guard from St. Louis, Mo., has played in 29 games and earned 12 starts. She has nine double-figure scoring games on the season, while averaging 8.7 points per game and 3.6 rebounds per game, and tallying 48 assists, 14 steals and seven blocks. Dickson has career-highs of 22 points against UCF (1-21-17), five three-point field goals made against #1 UConn (1-17-17), nine rebounds against both SMU (1-28-17) and East Carolina (1-31-17), and five assists against UCF (1-21-17).
