FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The University of Tulsa track and field squad wrapped up its regular season on Friday, sending one to the prestigious Payton Jordan Invitational and a contingency to the Arkansas Twilight in Fayetteville.
Ben Preisner was the Golden Hurricane's lone representative at the prestigious meet in California. In a race with former TU All-Americans Luke Traynor and Marc Scott, Preisner ran the eighth-fastest 10,000 meters in school history in 29:13.38.
Freshman Rory Mitchell kicked off Tulsa's appearance in Fayetteville in the first TU event of the meet.
