TEMPE, Ariz. –– The University of Tulsa women's tennis team was recognized today by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) with an All-Academic Team distinction and had six student-athletes earn ITA scholar-athlete honors.
The Tulsa women ended the academic year with a 3.81 overall team grade point average for the spring semester. To qualify for the ITA All-Academic Team, the team grade point average must be a 3.2 or above with all varsity letterwinners factored into the cumulative GPA.
The six Tulsa female tennis student-athletes earning ITA scholar-athlete honors for 2020 are seniors Martina Okalova, Vera Ploner and Shura Poppe, sophomore Marina Davtyan and freshmen Lian Benedejcic and Laia Conde Monfort.
