NORMAN, Okla. – The University of Tulsa's Martina Okalova and Vera Ploner suffered an 8-5 defeat to Oklahoma State's Bunyawi Thamchaiwat and Dariya Detkovskaya on Sunday in the doubles quarterfinals at the 2019 ITA Central Regional Championships.
The top-seeded Golden Hurricane started doubles competition on Thursday, securing a pair of wins, before falling to the eighth-seeded Cowgirls.
The Tulsa women's tennis team will start preparing for the Tulsa Invite. The three-day invitational starts on Friday, Nov. 1, at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.
