The Tulsa women's soccer team battled USF for 109:47, but dropped a 2-1 decision in double overtime on Thursday night at Corbett Stadium in Tampa, Fla. The Golden Hurricane fell to 6-5 on the season and 0-1 in American Athletic Conference play, while the Bulls moved to 6-2 overall and 1-0 in the league.
"We scored in the first three minutes, and no doubt about it USF is a good team, but we gutted it out defensively and still attacked and created chances," Head Coach Kyle Cussen said. "We played our hearts out and left it all out on the field.
