The Tulsa women's soccer team dropped a 5-1 decision to Missouri State on Friday night at the Betty and Bobby Allison South Stadium in Springfield, Mo. TU fell to 4-2 on the season, while the MSU moved to 4-1-1 overall.
"It was a tough loss," Head Coach Kyle Cussen said. "We did some good things. We were good going forward, we created some good chances, we out-shot them and had more corner kicks. When we went down 3-1, we changed our formation to allow us to get numbers forward to try to create an opportunity for us to get back into the game, but they capitalized on our fewer numbers in the backfield for their final two goals.
