The Tulsa women's soccer team captured their first win of the season, a 2-1 victory over Central Arkansas on Friday night in Conway, Ark. The Golden Hurricane moved to 1-1-1 on the season, while UCA fell to 1-2 overall.
"I was very encouraged with the night," Head Coach Kyle Cussen said. "We came out from the opening whistle playing well, but things weren't going our way and we were unfortunate not to score a couple goals. UCA had a good counterattack and scored a goal, putting us down 1-0 at halftime.
