TULSA, Okla. – The Tulsa women's soccer team dropped an American Athletic Conference match by a score of 2-0 to the Temple Owls Sunday afternoon at the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium. The Golden Hurricane fell to 1-5 on the season, while the Owls moved to 4-4-1 overall and 2-4-1 in the league.
It was chippy contest between the two teams as there were 25 fouls called, including 17 by the Owls. Temple took only three shots on goal and scored on two of those, with the goals coming in each half.
"We felt like if we created some opportunities, we'd have chances to score.
