Three Tulsa women's basketball players scored in double figures, but it wasn't enough as the Golden Hurricane dropped a 72-68 decision to Indiana State on Wednesday afternoon at the Hulman Center in Terre Haute, Ind. TU fell to 4-9 on the season, while ISU moved to 6-5 overall.
"They shot too many free throws and that's been our problem all year," Head Coach Matilda Mossman said. "When you make more field goals, more three's and more rebounds, but they have 20 points at the free throw line to your eight, that is a problem."
Erika Wakefield had team-highs of 17 points, six assists and four steals, while Alexis Gaulden and Ebony Parker both had 13 points.
