The Tulsa women's basketball team began the 2019-20 season today with the first team practice at the Donald W. Reynolds Center.
The Golden Hurricane returns 10 letterwinners, including four starters, from last year's team that finished the 2018-19 season with a 13-18 overall record and a seventh-place finish in American Athletic Conference play, and are under the direction of ninth-year head coach Matilda Mossman.
"I am looking forward to this season more than any season in the last three or four years because I think this is a fun group to coach," Mossman said. "It's been a while since we've been to postseason play and we're anxious to get back there, and I believe we have the personnel to do that.
