Box Score 1 STARKVILLE, Miss. – For the first time since 2002, the Golden Hurricane starts the season 6-0 after winning the opening games of the Bulldog Kickoff Classic. Tulsa defeated Tennessee State to begin the tournament 2-0, before defeating the host school, Mississippi State 2-1.
The Hurricane picked up its sixth win of the season by leaning on the strong pitching staff. Up 2-1 in the 5th inning against the Bulldogs, Kassidy Scott relieved Chenise Delce, throwing the last 2.1 innings not allowing a hit to defeat RV Mississippi State.
