The University of Tulsa Volleyball team is set to retire former three-time American Volleyball Coaches Association All-American Tyler Henderson's jersey before their match against Alabama on Friday evening at 7 p.m. The three-time Conference USA Player of the Year will join Julia Silva (2005-07) as the only former Golden Hurricane to have their jersey retired.
During her time at Tulsa, Henderson (2009-12) helped lead the Golden Hurricane to three straight C-USA championships while setting numerous program and NCAA records along the way. In 2010, Henderson set the NCAA record for kills in a season with 710, including a NCAA record 45 kills against SMU on Oct.
