TULSA, Okla. – The University of Tulsa Volleyball team will hit the road this week for two American Athletic Conference contests, beginning with a contest against the defending conference champion SMU Mustangs on Wednesday at 6 p.m. before traveling to Memphis to take on the Tigers Sunday at 1 p.m.
The Hurricane fell to SMU in both matches last year and currently trails in the all-time series to the Mustangs 18-22 dating back to their first meeting in 1996. SMU is currently in a three-way tie for first place in the AAC with Temple and Cincinnati and ranks 55th in the Ratings Percentage Index (RPI), two spots ahead of the Hurricane.
