TULSA, Oklahoma –– The University of Tulsa volleyball team was recognized with the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award for the 2016-17 season, it was announced today by the AVCA.
Tulsa is one of 145 NCAA Division I volleyball programs to receive the award, while a total of 822 collegiate and high school volleyball teams were honored.
The Golden Hurricane volleyball team had a team grade-point average of 3.47 for the semester and has a cumulative 3.28 GPA.
