JONESBORO, Ark. – The University of Tulsa Volleyball team matched their best start since 2009 with a 3-1 win over Central Arkansas at the A-State Invitational on Friday. Tulsa (7-1 overall) has won their last five matches, including the last nine out of 10 sets.
Tulsa opened the first set on a 6-0 run behind two Jaime Rahilly kills and two service aces from Brooke Berryhill. Rebecca Reeve recorded two aces of her own shortly after, putting the Hurricane ahead 9-2. Rachel Moore grabbed the fifth ace of the set for TU to put the Hurricane ahead 12-4 while forcing a Central Arkansas timeout.
