TULSA, Okla. – The University of Tulsa volleyball team (7-2) went 2-0 on the final day of its home tournament, the Tulsa Volleyball Invitational, sweeping Northwestern State (25-23, 25-22, 25-20) and defeating in-town rivals Oral Roberts, 3-1 (25-23, 21-25, 25-18, 25-20).

The Golden Hurricane (6-2) swept Northwestern State (4-4) on the second day of the Tulsa Volleyball Invitational on Saturday morning.
Seniors Emily Thorson and Rachel Moore had hot starts to the match, ending the first set with four kills each. Mariah Pardo handled the ball well for the Hurricane, boasting 10 assists in set one.
