ORLANDO, Fla. – The University of Tulsa volleyball squad (11-5, 3-1) fell to UCF (13-3, 4-0), 3-1, in the team's first road American Athletic Conference test of the season on Friday.
In set one, the Golden Hurricane found itself in a back-and-forth battle. Despite a 5-0 Tulsa run in the middle of the set to keep it close, the Knights nabbed the first set, 25-20. and accrued service aces in the set, to go along with four kills in the frame.
The second frame played out much like the first, as the teams traded kills back-and-forth.
