NEW ORLEANS, La. – The University of Tulsa Volleyball team found themselves in another five-set battle on the road, this time against Tulane after falling behind 2-1 in the match. The Hurricane (13-3, 2-2 AAC) battled back to win the fourth set before dropping the fifth as they split a pair of road contests this weekend.
Tulsa found themselves down 8-5 in the first set before three consecutive Tulane errors knotted the set up at 8-8. Trinity Alualu tied things up once again after a Haley Coulter kill at 10-10. A pair of Erica Bohannon kills put the Hurricane up 14-13 and 15-14 before Tulane eventually regained the lead after a TU setting error.
