WICHITA, Kan. - For the first time this season, the Tulsa volleyball team has lost back-to-back matches in the American Athletic Conference, following a four-set loss at Wichita State [25-23, 25-14, 24-26, 25-19] on Friday at Charles Koch Arena. The previous three matches between the Golden Hurricane (15-13, 8-7 The American) and the Shockers (8-19, 5-10) had gone to five sets.
Wichita State would score the first two points of the third set, but Tulsa then rallied off three straight for a 3-2 advantage. The two teams would be tied five more times in the game, but the Golden Hurricane never trailed.
