TULSA, Okla. – The University of Tulsa volleyball team (10-4, 2-0) defeated North Texas (5-13, 1-1) in a five-set battle, 3-2, on Wednesday in the Donald W. Reynolds Center.
With the victory and final non-conference matchup, Tulsa improves to a flawless 6-0 on its home court.
The first set was an indicator of what was to come as the teams battled it out, with North Texas taking the first set, 25-20. Both teams struggled offensively, but eight digs from DS/L kept the Hurricane close.
The second set was even tighter, with the Golden Hurricane edging out the frame, 26-24.
