Ebony Parker, Erika Wakefield and Tatyana Perez all scored in double figures, but it wasn't enough as the Tulsa women's basketball team dropped an 82-62 decision to Kansas State on Monday night at Bramlage Coliseum in Manhattan, Kan. TU fell to 1-1 on the season, while KSU moved to 2-0 overall.
"There was a big height differential, but if you take away the second quarter defensively we were right there," Head Coach Matilda Mossman said. "In that second quarter they shot 65-percent and that's because they were getting into the paint.
