Tulsa Track & Field Places at John Jacobs Invitational

NORMAN, Okla. – On Saturday, The University of Tulsa women's and men's track and field teams registered a sixth-place and an eighth-place team finishes, respectively, as part of the John Jacobs Invitational at the John Jacobs Track Complex.

The women collected four top-five finishes and one event title. Sophomore Kiara Jones won the women's 400-meter hurdles with a time of 59.79. The Hurricane had a notable performance from sophomore Danielle Medearis as she finished runner-up in the women's 3,000-meter run with a time of 9:53.73. Candalyn Lyons, Quin Patterson, Cydney Fogle and Kiara Jones represented Tulsa in the 4x400-meter relay finishing runner-up with a time of 3:47.
