TULSA, Okla. –– Tulsa scored on its first possession, and then ran off 38 unanswered points on its way to a 45-10 season-opening win over San Jose State in front of a crowd of 18,748 Saturday evening at H.A. Chapman Stadium.
Junior running back D'Angelo Brewer rushed for a career-high 164 yards and three touchdowns on 22 carries to lead the Golden Hurricane offense, which gained 305 yards on the ground.
