TULSA, Okla. – The Tulsa track and field team will split up and send athletes to both The Badger's Windy City Invite in Chicago, Illinois, and the Gorilla Classic in Pittsburg, Kansas starting Friday, February 11 and conclude the following day.
The Hurricane will send 33 track athletes to Chicago, 19 on the men's side, and 14 on the women's side, to compete in 15 total events against Arizona, Howard, Illinois, Michigan, Michigan State, Oregon, Wisconsin, and South Florida at the Track and Field Center at Gately Park. Joshua Sutton, who won the 60-meter dash at the Washburn Open two weeks ago, will compete in the 60-meter dash and 200-meter dash, while , who won the 3,000-meter run at the Washburn Open, will be one of 10 Tulsa male runners to compete in the 3,000-meter in Chicago.
