TULSA, Okla. –– The Tulsa Golden Hurricane men's tennis team traveled across town to face the Oral Roberts Golden Eagles Monday afternoon and came away with a 7-0 victory at the Bernis Duke Tennis Center on the ORU campus.
Tulsa improved to 6-4 on the season with its first road win of the season.
The Hurricane swept all three double matches to take a 1-0 lead heading into singles play.
In singles, Tulsa took flights 2 through 6 in straight sets, while at No. 1 Kody Pearson came back from a 6-4 loss in the opening set to even the match with a 6-1 win in the second set.
