James Flanders rushed for a career-high 190 yards and Josh Atkinson tallied a career-high 142 receiving yards to lead Tulsa to a 50-27 Homecoming victory over Tulane Saturday afternoon in front of a crowd of 22,349.
Flanders ran for two touchdowns and Atkinson caught one of quarterback Dane Evans' three touchdown passes. Evans completed 14 of 23 passes for 236 yards, as the Golden Hurricane improved to 5-2 overall and 2-1 in the American Athletic Conference.
Senior Keevan Lucas had three catches for 67 yards and a score, and senior running back D'Angelo Brewer caught two passes, including a five-yard touchdown in the second quarter.
