Tulsa Succumbs to UCA’s Seven Run Sixth Inning

TULSA, Okla. – UCA exploded for seven runs in the top of the 6th inning for a 9-1 win over Tulsa on Tuesday afternoon at the Collins Family Softball Complex.

Tulsa fell to 6-12 on the season, while UCA improved to 11-7.

The Bears tallied one run in each of the first two innings. Tulsa scored its lone run of the game in the 4th inning when Kylee Nash doubled to right field scoring Abby Jones.

The Bears opened the 6th with a triple and scored two runs before Jaylee Engelkes cleared the bases with a grand slam over the left field fence to give the visiting team a seven-run inning.
