MACON, Ga. — The University of Tulsa softball team began the 2020 season capturing victories over Tennessee Tech (10-2, 5 innings) and Eastern Kentucky (5-2) to give first-year head coach Crissy Strimple her first career wins.
The Hurricane picked up its first wins of the season by swinging the bat well on the day recording 21 hits and 15 runs. Against Tennessee Tech, sophomore Aubree Seaney led the way for Tulsa with 2 hits for 4 RBIs, including a two-run home run. In the game against EKU, Chenise Delce picked up where she left off last season recording 2 hits, a double and a home run, driving in 2 runs.
