With the turn of the calendar to March, the Tulsa football team will begin spring practice on the first day of the new month. The Golden Hurricane will get on the turf of H.A. Chapman Stadium on Tuesday, March 1, for the first time in 2016.
Philip Montgomery enters his second spring just as excited about this year as he was in his first season as the Hurricane head coach.
Tulsa will get in seven practices over the next two weeks taking off after next Thursday's (March 10) session for Spring Break. After Tuesday's first practice, the Hurricane will be back on the field Wednesday (M2), Friday (M4) and Saturday (M5) of this week, and Monday (M7), Wednesday (M9) and Thursday (M10) of next week.
