NORMAN, Okla. –– The Tulsa softball team will play in the NCAA Norman Regional Championship on Sunday afternoon, with the opportunity to advance to the school's first appearance at the Super Regional.
No. 10-seed Oklahoma (51-9, 17-1 Big 12) hosts North Dakota State (29-32, 11-7 Summit) early Sunday afternoon with the winner advancing to face the Golden Hurricane at 4:00 p.m.
A win for Tulsa (41-15, 15-3 The American) in the 4 p.m. contest will move the Hurricane to the Super Regional Round, but a loss will force a second game to be played on Monday at 1 p.
