TULSA, Okla. - The University of Tulsa Softball team swept the American Athletic Conference weekly awards for the second time this season as sophomore outfielder Julia Hollingsworth was named Player of the Week while junior right-hander Emily Watson earned her seventh Pitcher of the Week nod as the Hurricane went 4-0 over the week with a sweep of UConn in league play.
Hollingsworth (Ennis, Texas) earned her first Player of the Week nod after hitting .500 for the week with fours runs scored and five runs batted in. The sophomore homered in back-to-back games to close out the UConn series, including a two-hit and two RBI performance on Saturday to clinch a series win.
