TULSA, Okla. –– The University of Tulsa softball team added prep catcher Jayla Parks to its 2021 signing class, Head Coach Crissy Strimple announced today.
Parks comes to Tulsa from Spring (Texas) High School, where she was a four-year letterwinner on three undefeated District 16-6A championship teams. During her four seasons, Spring High School posted an overall record of 82-27 and a 45-0 district mark.
"We're excited to get the caliber of player like Jayla to join our program late in the recruiting cycle," said Strimple. "Jayla comes from a great high school program at Spring Hill.
