The Tulsa rowing team will host Creighton and Central Oklahoma beginning at 9:00 am on Saturday, April 8 at the J. Bird Sr. Shell Nest, while three other TU boats will compete at the Knecht Cup on Mercer Lake in West Windsor Township, N.J., throughout the weekend.
The Golden Hurricane will race the Bluejays and Bronchos in the Varsity 8+, 2nd Varsity 8+, 3rd Varsity 8+, Varsity 4+, 2nd Varsity 4+ and 3rd Varsity 4+.
"This weekend in Catoosa will be a test for our athletes to see if they can rise to the occasion against UCO and Creighton without their lightweight teammates on hand," Head Coach Kevin Harris said.
