The Tulsa rowing team tallied a third-place finish at the American Athletic Conference Championship at the US Rowing National High Performance Center in Oklahoma City, Okla.
"Mother nature made it a challenge on the hosting side, we had a lot of wind, but it is an outdoor sport so sometimes we have those challenges, but luckily we were able to race. I'm proud that we were able to host and bring this regatta to Oklahoma. As far as finishing third, I think that is a great result today. We've finished second four times and now we finish third, but the weather has really affected us with the river flooding on our home course.
