TULSA, Okla. ––The Tulsa football team practiced on the turf at H.A. Chapman Stadium Wednesday morning after taking a day off on Tuesday. Although the Hurricane didn't come out of the gates as head Coach Philip Montgomery would have liked today, they did close out practice on a strong note.
"Any time you get in camp and get that first day off, you want to see how they react. Their bodies needed the time off, and they were a little fresher today in pretty humid and cloudy conditions," said Montgomery.
"I thought we'd come out with a little more juice.
