The University of Tulsa ranks 19th nationally in the initial NACDA Learfield Sports Director's Cup Division I Fall Standings, it was announced today. Tulsa is the top American Athletic Conference institution in the standings, followed by UConn at No. 26 and SMU at No. 51. Syracuse is ranked No. 1 in the current standings.
The current fall standings include the sports of men's cross-country, women's cross- country and women's field hockey.
Tulsa's high ranking is spearheaded by the school's men's and women's cross country teams, winners of the American Athletic Conference Championships and participants in the NCAA Championships.
