It took the Golden Hurricane overtime to grab a 47-44 win in Philip Montgomery's head coaching debut last week. The Lobos also come into the game with a 1-0 mark after a 66-0 drubbing of Mississippi Valley State.

This is the seventh meeting between the two teams as Tulsa leads the series 4-2, having won the last game played in 2009 by a score of 44-10.
