TULSA, Okla. –– The Tulsa football team moved its practice session to the afternoon, getting on a more normal schedule that the Golden Hurricane will follow throughout the season.
Tulsa also turned more of its focus to preparations for season-opening opponent Michigan State on a day where practice the thermometer reached 100-degrees. Temperature at the start of practice was 97-degrees with a heat index of 100, while practice ended at 100-degrees with a heat index of 114.
"There was a little more focus today on Michigan State. We obviously got reps against each other, but the second half of practice we did more on Michigan State," said Montgomery.
