Houston, Texas –– The Tulsa men's track team collected 26 points and sits in first-place following two events on the opening day of the American Athletic Conference Championship Friday at the University of Houston.
Tulsa's 26 points came from one first-place performance and two second-place finishes on Friday. The Hurricane took home first and second in the men's 10,000 meters with Henry Pearce finishing first in 31:21.90 and Adam Roderique taking second with a time of 31:34.52. Freshman Aleks Rapp placed second in the men's hammer throw with a personal-best of 59.
