TULSA, Okla. – The University of Tulsa men's tennis team opens the 2016 season with a double-header Friday, Jan. 15, when they take on crosstown foe Oral Roberts at 10:00 a.m. and No. 21-ranked California at 6:00 p.m. at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center. The Golden Hurricane enters the 2016 season ranked No. 29 nationally according to the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.
California is Tulsa's first of 19 ranked opponents the Hurricane will face this season, including seven top-25 teams visiting the Case Tennis Center.
Last year, Tulsa finished the season ranked No. 28 nationally, under Head Coach Vince Westbrook who is entering his 25th season with the Golden Hurricane.
