TULSA, Okla. –– The Tulsa Golden Hurricane men's tennis team went 2-0 on Friday, winning early in the day 6-1 over Illinois State and closing out the day against cross-town rival Oral Roberts with a 7-0 victory at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.
The Hurricane evened its season record to 2-2 and will return to the court on Sunday at 2 p.m. to face Omaha.
Tulsa swept all three double matches to take a 1-0 lead heading into singles play.
In singles, Connor Di Marco was the first to finish by claiming a 6-3, 6-0 win over Marcello Moreira at flight 2.
