TULSA, Okla. – The University of Tulsa men's tennis squad picked up three singles wins and a doubles victory on day one of the qualifying round at the Saint Francis Health System ITA All-American Championships at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.
The reigning conference Freshman of the Year Joshua Goodger had a hot start to the day, defeating Eric Rutledge of Rice, 6-4, 6-4. In 2017, Goodger battled through the ITA All-American qualifying round, earning a spot in the main draw.
Sophomore Boriss Kamdem picked up where Goodger left off, taking down Kawika Lam of Washington, 6-1, 6-4.
