Tulsa Men Place Three Runners Among Top-20 as Hurricane Finish in 6th Place at NCAA Championship


STILLWATER, Okla. –– Patrick Dever turned in Tulsa's first-ever top-5 individual performance at the NCAA DI Cross Country Championship on Tuesday at the OSU Cross Country Course.

The Tulsa men finished in 6th place in the field of 30 teams, its second-best finish in school history, behind last year's 5th place performance.

The top-5 teams included Northern Arizona, Notre Dame, Oklahoma State, Arkansas and Stanford. The Hurricane finished above the nation's top-ranked coming into the event and the defending national champion BYU Cougars, which came in 7th place.
