Houston, Texas –– The Tulsa men's track team has scored 32 points through six events for fifth-place, while the Tulsa women have scored 12 points for ninth place after two days at the American Athletic Conference Track & Field Championships.
The Tulsa women scored nine points in the 3,000-meter steeplechase Saturday night as Stacie Taylor finished in third place with a time of 10:29.13 to garner six of those points. Ashley Barnes and Ayssa Bolliger placed 7th and 8th, respectively for the Hurricane, with times of 10:46.07 and 10:52.23.
Benjamin Preisner picked up six points for the Tulsa men on Saturday with a third-place performance in the 3,000m steeplechase when he clocked a time of 9:22.
