The Tulsa indoor track and field team is set to compete at the Wichita State Herm Wilson Invitational on Friday at the Heskett Center in Wichita, Kan. Events TU will be participating in begin at 11:00 am with the final event beginning at 7:00 pm.
TU will compete against athletes from McMurry, Oklahoma Baptist, Oral Roberts and Wichita State at the meet.
Sixteen TU men's student-athletes will compete in seven events, while 17 women will participate in nine events. Both men and women will race in the 60-meter dash, 200-meter dash, 400-meter run, 800-meter run, mile run, 3,000-meter run and 4x400-meter relay, while Rachel Hamel will compete in the pentathlon and Carsyn Spurgeon will participate in the long jump.
