STARKVILLE, Miss. – The Golden Hurricane goes 1-1 on the second day of the Bulldog Kickoff Classic, defeating North Alabama 1-0 before falling to Tennessee State 2-1 in 10 innings.
Tulsa started the day picking up its 7th win behind dominant pitching from junior Samantha Pochop who picked up her second win of the season. Pochop struck out a career-high 14 batters throwing a complete game shutout only allowing 1 hit to UNA.
The Hurricane started the bottom of the 10th inning against Tennessee State down 2-1 placing Abby Jones on second with no outs because of the International Tie-Breaker.
