TULSA, Okla. – Tulsa Head Coach Philip Montgomery was impressed with his team's energy Tuesday as the Golden Hurricane returned to the practice field following a day off on Monday. It was the second day of classes as the Hurricane returned for a 2-hour workout on Harwell Field.
Today's practice saw the return of the eight players who have been medically cleared to resume practice activities after being in isolation due to positive tests for the COVID-19 virus.
"We had great energy," said Montgomery.
"You always worry about it once school starts –– you have classes on Monday, had Tuesday class and then having your first true afternoon workout in the heat.
