TULSA, Okla. – The Tulsa Golden Hurricane football team will resume practice on Friday afternoon. All those student-athletes eligible to practice have tested negative twice in the last seven days.
Practice has been paused for the past nine days due to eight positive COVID-19 tests. Those eight student-athletes remain in isolation until medically cleared.
The players eligible to participate in practice today have been involved in strength and conditioning activities and team meetings over the past week.
Tulsa is scheduled to open the season on Sept. 12 at Oklahoma State.
