The University of Tulsa football team gathered at the Case Athletic Complex on Wednesday afternoon for their first official meeting signifying the start of the 2016 preseason football camp. The Golden Hurricane will begin preseason practices 9:30 a.m. Thursday morning at Harwell Field
Tulsa coaches welcomed 105 players to preseason camp. Among the 105 players, 29 are newcomers and 76 are returning players. Tulsa welcomes 20 scholarship freshmen, one transfer and eight walk-on freshmen to the roster. In addition to the newcomers class, two true scholarship freshmen, safety Manny Bunch and offensive lineman Clay Greathouse, enrolled at mid-semester and participated in spring drills.
